Welcome

Julianstown is a small village situated in East Meath, approximately four miles south of Drogheda. The beautiful Nanny Water is the outstanding feature of the village. As it wends its way to the sea at Laytown it passes through a fertile valley of great scenic beauty with gently sloping fields and woodlands. Because of its position on the river, the history of Julianstown is rich in its associations with many important happenings and events in Irish history, and has also fashioned the industrial life of the neighbourhood.

This website is dedicated to the community of Julianstown. There are links to local history and townlands and a gallery with video and photos. There is an interactive calendar and a forum. Find details on the residents association and pride of place initiative. Finally you can join the mailing list to be kept up to date. If you have any suggestions let us know what you think
